A Woolen Mill Fredericksburg VA Wedding
Sierra & Nedu celebrated their wedding day this month! This day was such a joy for so many reasons: Sierra & Nedu have been dating for a long time and finally were able say “I do”, the celebration was so beautiful with many emotions, their wedding guests showered them with SO much love and…it was my birthday!
The past several months have been a whirlwind for my HD Couple! Sierra & Nedu got engaged in August, we shot their engagement photos in September and by the first day of November, they were married! Not to mention, during all of their wedding planning, they had a traditional African ceremony the week before their wedding date, so they had their first wedding ceremony in October!
Their ceremony & reception took place at the gorgeous Woolen Mill in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This is a new venue and it is so gorgeous with all of its windows, brick and natural light! Between the reception, ceremony and getting ready rooms I could not pick my favorite place to photograph. It was a perfect autumn day that happened to fall on daylights savings, so this lucky bride and groom got an extra hour on their wedding day, how awesome is that, a 25 hour wedding day!
The best part of the day (and it is so present in these images) is just how much Sierra & Nedu love each other. The way that they look at each other, hold each other, and celebrate each other is so beautiful. It was my honor to witness their day, capture their love, and help them tell their story. I loved spending so much time working closing with Sierra & Nedu this year, they were amazing and treated me with so much love & kindness. Here is to them and all that is yet to come – woo!
