I’m in the wedding world not only as a vendor, but also as a bride,

that’s right, I am planning my own wedding right now too!

and “Vendor Haley” knows and sees lots of things that helps out “Bride Haley”

and the great thing about that, is that I plan to share everything I know and learn with YOU!

So today I have for you…

3 BRILLIANT WEDDING DAY IDEAS FOR YOUR DAY

01. hire a day-of coordinator

A day-of coordinator will help you with so many critical elements that make a wedding day go smoothly! A coordinator will help you with: timeline creation & floor plan layouts, rehearsal coordination, ensuring your vendors are providing the correct services and most importantly – event management! And no, this is not the same as your venue coordinator. Your venue coordinator will make sure the doors are unlocked, the lights are turned on and no one smokes where they aren’t supposed to. But who is going to line up your wedding party? Who is going to set up your decorations & breakdown at the end of the night? Who is going to make sure the rings are with the right person before ceremony? Your planner or coordinator will!

I highly recommend the Coordinated Collective!

02. private last dance

One of the greatest joys about your wedding day is that you are surrounded by your family & friends! However, you are quite literally surrounded by them ALL 👏DAY 👏 LONG 👏 and most couples find that they never have a moment alone together on their special day! The solution? Carve out some special 1:1 time alone together by saving the last dance of the night for just you and your spouse.

03. seasonal flowers

Not only is this a brilliant wedding day idea but it is also a money saving tip! Blooms are seasonal, and your wedding flowers should be too! If you ignore what’s in season (for example, wanting peonies in September) this will drastically increase the cost and effort required to bring in the florals for your day. So instead, trust your florist to recommend flowers that have a similar look that are IN season. They will pick out and source the best flowers for the time of year and your price point!

Summer florals in June

Mixed florals in September

Fall florals in October
