What a delight it is to share Hannah and Brendan’s engagement session on the blog! As the autumn sun set over Oatlands House and Gardens in Virginia, the scene was nothing short of enchanting. For a wedding photographer like me, capturing these precious moments in such a picturesque setting is a dream come true.

Oatlands House and Gardens, is becoming a favorite location of mine for engagement sessions, with its historic charm and lush landscapes every step is beautiful. As the golden light bathed the gardens in a warm glow, Hannah & Brendan strolled through the manicured grounds. From the stately mansion to the blooming flowers, every corner seemed to add a touch of magic to their session.

Hannah’s engagement ring was a true standout—a stunning tri-stone gold masterpiece that sparkled brilliantly in the sun. It’s always a joy to capture the details that make each engagement unique, and this ring was a perfect reflection of Hannah’s style and elegance. Brendan, too, added a personal touch with custom embroidered cuffs on his shirt, a subtle yet meaningful detail that spoke to his attention to detail.

As we wandered through the gardens, the soft October sunset highlighted the warmth of Hannah and Brendan’s relationship.
