A Mendenhall Inn Wedding Day
Hello hello and welcome to the 2023 wedding season, this is my first wedding of the year!
I’m so excited to share with you Lizzy & Nick’s wedding! These two celebrated their marriage with an amazing April wedding at the Mendenhall Inn in Pennsylvania. Even with a forecast of rain and dark clouds building in the distance, it was such a lovely day! Their wedding was full of spring colors, elegant details, and happy smiles. From the ceremony to the speeches, there was so much emotion and love embedded in their day. One of my favorite details from their day was their choice to hand write their vows to each other. Lizzy and Nick opted not to do a first look, but rather, they read their vows at the same time during the getting ready portion of the day. I was with Lizzy, my second photographer was with Nick, and we coordinated to have the two of them read their letters to each other at the same time. It was such a special moment and the photographs really captured how special that detail was!
Lizzy and Nick had their ceremony and reception in The Mendenhall Inn’s elegant ballroom and they made the most of its cascading staircase! Lizzy entered into the room and walked down the aisle from the top of the staircase and I wish you could have seen everyone’s faces, time stood still and she captivated the entire room as she descended down the stairs!
