A Dupont Country Club Wedding
The end of the 2022 wedding season finished with a bang, literally! Danielle and Jameson celebrated their marriage on New Year’s Eve and this was a party to remember!
This Wilmington, Delaware wedding day started in a nearby hotel getting ready, and I must say the party started there! Danielle and her girls has the best playlist going and the dancing started then! Jameson and his groomsmen were cool and collected just a few floors below them. When I stopped in to say hello and to take Jameson’s getting ready photos, all twelve groomsmen were dressed, ready and simply hanging out! Which, is a DREAM for a photographer to walk into on a wedding day! When it was time to get these two married, their beautiful wedding party hopped into their party limos and it was off the the ceremony!
Their ceremony took place is the most beautiful church in Delaware, St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church. This church is so grand, it has the most ornate details, a ceiling that demands your attention and a center aisle that is fit for royalty. The church was decorated for Christmas, and the altar was filled with the most beautiful red poinsettias and sparkling Christmas trees. Honestly, this blog post should come with a warning, because if you are a spring or summer couple, I swear their photos are going to make you consider a winter wedding!
After they said their “I do’s”, we were off to the DuPont County Club for their reception and New Year’s Eve celebration! Their perfectly decorated ballroom was filled with so much delight, conversation, dancing, great music and a New Year’s Eve countdown! You know, grand exits have been the latest trend, but I will tell you, there is nothing more exciting or romanic than a count down into the new year on your wedding night!
Danielle & Jameson ended the night with a surprise only a New Year’s wedding could have,
fireworks!
