A Snowy Engagement Anniversary
Cynthia and Sam are back on the blog and I am so excited to have them on my screen again. I recently had a couples session with these two to celebrate their 2 year engagement anniversary! Sam proposed to Cynthia in a park on a snowy February day in 2019 and set their wedding for 2021. When I shot their engagement pictures that summer, I had promised Cynthia and Sam we would do a 1 year engagement anniversary session to help keep the excitement while they counted down the two years until their wedding day!
Well, my promise to them was broken thanks to COVID hitting full force in February 2020 (I’m so sorry!!).
But here we are, two years later and I am finally able to fulfill that promise made to them!
Which, I dare might say turned out for the better! Our goal was to recreate Sam’s proposal as much as possible (a snowy February day) and this winter we have gotten snow storm after snow storm, so we were able to schedule our session to line up with the snow! The snow reflected the light so beautifully and the afternoon sun was shining! It was so good to see Cynthia & Sam again, especially now so close to their wedding! These two are full of love and they, quite literally, glow when they are together! I cannot wait for their special day in May, after a long engagement this is going to make the wedding day all the more meaningful.
