A Washington D.C. Winter Engagement Session
Christine & Alex are engaged and at the end of this summer they will be married! Alex proposed to Christine last summer doing something they love to do, hanging out in their hot tub! And that’s just the start of how these two are totally my kind of people, but more importantly – how these two are completely at home with one another.
“Home” was at the core of their engagement session and what they wanted to capture in their photographs. We started their session in their home, capturing their daily life and some of their most cherished moments together: sipping on hot drinks in their kitchen, hanging out on the couch together, playing with their adorable pup, Dobby, and enjoying the fire out on their deck.
This is why being a photographer is so special to me, I am invited into peoples most personal part of their lives! I will never take this trust and openness for granted and I’m always so honored to be welcomed into my couple’s world.
